Cornelia Jakobs + Special Guests

The newly crowned Swedish Grammy winner, Cornelia Jakobs, will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool tomorrow. Her return to the competition, one year after “Hold Me Closer”, is outside of the actual competition, and she is one of the few handpicked artists invited by the BBC to perform in the final. The tour premiere for Cornelia and her band at Lafayette in London is on Tuesday, May 16. The interest to see and hear one of Sweden’s currently most interesting voices is high. Therefore, she is announcing an extensive European tour today, which will last all year and even extend into 2024.

– It feels amazing to hit the road again! We’ve had a slightly longer gig break, so now I am so incredibly eager to play and meet the audience again and my incredible fan base who travel everywhere I go to be at the front and sing at the top of their lungs to all songs, released or unreleased. It’s incredibly touching to see and hear them and their words about what my music does for them, says Cornelia.

With her ability to convey direct-acting emotions through her charisma and voice, Cornelia Jakobs has deservedly found her place in the spotlight. On April 28, she released her latest single “It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane”, a new version of The Ark’s old classic. The song was released in collaboration with Spotify in a campaign to honor the nominees for the Best New Artist at the Swedish Grammy Awards. A prize which she also won. In addition to touring, Cornelia Jakobs will continue to work in the studio on her debut album and more music from the artist is expected to be released during the year.
